Mackay City Auto Group's Factory Trained Technicians are regularly provided with advanced up to date training direct from the manufacturer, utilising Genuine Parts and Accessories and perform your motor vehicle's service using the latest technology and tools. This will ensure your motor vehicle is kept in optimum condition for enhanced driving, better safety, and resale value.
Appointments
If you have any special needs or urgent appointments, please advise the Service Advisor prior to your booking so arrangements can be made to assist. When dropping your vehicle off for your appointment, be sure to check all jobs required are listed on your repair order. Only the jobs listed will be attended to on the day. This is very important because any previous conversations you may have had with sales staff or anyone else in the dealership may not have been passed on to the service staff.
We recommend that you check the Service Advisor has the correct contact details when booking in your vehicle in case further contact is required. A mobile number and email address are essential for effective communication. At this time, the Service Advisor will confirm with you the required collection time.
If you are the driver of a fleet managed vehicle or corporate vehicle, the work undertaken at your service will be very basic in line with your Fleet Manager's requirements. Additional work like lubrication of catches, engine washing, and vehicle washing will not be carried out on your vehicle unless specifically requested and approved via a purchase order. Please advise the Service Advisor upon making your appointment if it is a fleet vehicle or covered by a corporate plan.
Client Waiting Lounge
As well as the very latest in equipment and diagnostics, our service department also offers you a comfortable waiting area, tea and coffee facilities, magazines, newspapers and television, courtesy Wi-Fi to surf the web or check your email.
Early Bird Check In and Self Serve Drop Off
If you're an early bird or you prefer to have no or limited contact with our Service team, you can drop your vehicle off to us before we open and collect at any time. We have introduced a new Key Lock Box secure system at Nelson Street.

Loan Vehicle for Services or Repairs
Loan Vehicles are available, subject to availability and terms & condition for our Mackay City Auto Group.
- We recommend that you pre-book your loan vehicle well in advance, to ensure availability on the day of your service
- It is conditional that the Loan vehicle is returned on the same day unless pre arranged with the Service Department. This ensures customers who have pre-booked a vehicle for the following day are not inconvenienced.
- Customers must supply proof of a full drivers licence. A photo copy will be taken confirming your licence details.
- Insurance Excess is $1950 incl. GST (Excess may vary according to your age).
